The film will be bankrolled by Kotapadi J. Rajesh under the banner KJR Studios. Hero also features 'Action King' Arjun, Abhay Deol, and others in crucial roles and Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music for the film.

Right from the trailer launch to the film’s promotions, the team is indeed going vera level for it. During the trailer launch, it was revealed that Yuvan Shankar Raja has a surprise for the audiences with his 18 mins long BGM track in Hero that would probably be the longest BG piece for an Indian film.

Recently, the team of Hero headed to MA Chidambaram Stadium, where the first ODI of Indian Vs West Indies took place. As they promoted their upcoming film, in an interactive session with the host Bhavna Balakrishnan, actor Sivakarthikeyan, being a true fan of cricket spoke about the Caption cool of the Indian Cricket Team, MS Dhoni.
