DULQUER SALMAN RESPONDS TO ALLEGATIONS PLACED BY MUMBAI POLICE.

Dulquer Salman is currently working on his second Bollywood film titled as the ‘Zoya factor’ sharing screen space with actress Sonam Kapoor. The team is currently shooting in Mumbai and due to turn of events, the duo had a run-in with the Mumbai police.

A video of Dulquer Salman is doing the rounds on social media where the actor is seen texting while driving on the roads of Mumbai. The video was shot by Sonam who at the end of the video called Dulquer a ‘weirdo’ and shared this on her official social media sites.

Mumbai police agreeing to this reposted the same video on their official Twitter handle and stated that “We agree with you‪,‬ Quite a ‘weirdo’ to try such stunts while driving and putting the lives of fellow drivers at risk too! We don’t quite approve of these even in ‘reel’ life. ‪#NotDone”‬

Dulquer has now expressed this opinion on this tweet and stated that - "Would appreciate it if you had checked some facts before tweeting this. In fact @MumbaiPolice helped us with permissions and traffic management during the shoot and were present the whole time. In my next tweet attaching the video, I was shooting. #notawierdo

@MumbaiPolice The car was rigged to a low loader truck which was also the camera rig. I couldn't steer or drive the car even if I wanted to. Also this particular car cannot steer itself."
