Director Vijay has directed several critically acclaimed films such as Madrasapattinam, Deiva Thirumagal and Saivam. His last directorial was the sequel to the 2016 film Devi, Devi 2 which had featured Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah, Nandita Swetha, and Dimple Hayati in the lead roles, while Kovai Sarala, RJ Balaji, and Saptagiri plays supporting roles. The film had opened up to mixed review.
He will be next seen directing the biopic on the late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa. Titled as Thalaivi, the film will feature Bollywood star Kangna Ranaut in the lead. On the personal front, there is an update for all his fans!
As we all know, director Vijay had entered wedlock with Amala Paul in the year 2014 and the couple filed for a divorce in 2016 due to some disagreement and they were subsequently granted the divorce in February 2017.
And now, the latest update is that the director is all set to get married again. He is getting hitched to Dr. R. Aishwarya in July 2019 and has further stated that this arranged marriage is going to be a private ceremony with close friends and families.
