Director Suraaj’s comment about heroine’s costumes in an interview had opened the Pandora’s Box which led Nayanthara and Tamannaah reacting to it strongly with the latter seeking an apology from the director.
Suraaj had also spoken to behindwoods some time ago and had expressed his apology. He has now issued a statement seeking apology which is as follows:

I am really sorry and would like to apologize to Tamannaah and all the heroines in the industry. My intention was not to show anyone in bad light or hurt their sentiments. I am sorry once again & take back my comments.
