Post which, there was no looking back for the director as he delivered three more back-to-back blockbuster hits Their, Mersal and Bigil. What’s more special is that these 3 films featured Thalapathy Vijay as the hero.
He also donned the producer's hat with his 'A for Apple' productions for Andhaghaaram where he had teamed with Arjun Das who rose to fame with his impeccable performance in Karthi’s Kaithi as Anbu.
Meanwhile, Atlee would be directing the Baadshah of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan which is reportedly titled as Sanki and might feature Deepika Padukone as the female lead. The director has taken aback his social media followers with his latest post which conveys that he is a “lychnobite” which means that a person who sleeps all day and works at night!
