A few weeks ago, on the finale of the television reality show, Bigg Boss Tamil, Kamal Haasan, director Shankar and famous Tollywood producer Dil Raju came together to announce that they will be working on the sequel to Shankar and Kamal's super hit film, Indian. Yesterday, we broke the news that Dil Raju will not be producing this venture and the responsibility has now been handed over to Lyca Productions.

Today, we contacted Dil Raju to find out the reason for the same. In an exclusive conversation, he said, "We were supposed to do Indian 2, but Lyca Productions showed interest in producing the movie. Shankar is already working with them for 2.0, and he also asked me if we could work on another project in the future. So, on a mutual agreement, we decided to work together very soon in the future. I have given this away on a friendly basis."

Since Lyca has taken over Indian 2, we can expect this project's scale to shoot high up!
