Bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi films, Pattas movie's concept was derived from the early martial art - Adimurai. Incidentally, Adimurai is one of the ancient, most traditional and revered martial art of Tamil Nadu, and is a type of Varma Kalai (an art based on the vital pressure points). The movie highlighted the rich culture and specialities of this martial art, and the fight scenes inculcating this became quite famous.
Pattas released on Pongal - 15 January this year. The movie had Dhanush play a dual role - the father role was paired with Actress Sneha, and the son role was paired with Actress Mehreen Pirzada. With music composed by Vivek Mervin, Pattas is written and directed by R S Durai Senthilkumar.
Now, recently in a tweet, the makers of the movie Sathya Jyothi Films announced that Pattas goes to Telugu! Yes, you heard that right! They have unveiled the first look and title poster of the movie. The film is titled 'Local Boy' in Telugu, according to the tweet, and the first look poster features Dhanush and Mehreen Pirzada.
