The multi-faceted actor Dhanush definitely needs no introduction! The actor who has carved a niche for himself has a number of upcoming projects lined up in his kitty for release. Most of them would have released if the Coronavirus pandemic didn’t hit the world.

Meanwhile, the actor has been now hitting the headlines all for the right reasons! Dhanush received the National Award for Best Actor for the film, Asuran from Indian Vice President Shri Venkaiah Naidu and the pictures and videos of the same are doing heavy rounds in the social media.

For the unversed, the 67th National Film Awards ceremony is taking place in Delhi on October 25th. Dhanush bagged his first award for Aadukalam back in 2011. Asuran also won the National Film Award for Best Tamil Film and the award was received by producer S Thanu and director Vetri Maaran.
