DEEPIKA PADUKONE STUNS IN A BLACK SHIMMERY SAREE AT CANNES FILM FESTIVAL 2022 - VIRAL PICS!

Deepika Padukone, who started her film career with the Kannada film Aishwarya, rose to fame in 2007 with the Hindi film Om Shanti Om starring Shah Rukh Khan.

Later, she reached the pinnacle of success with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and Piku with the late Irrfan Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Tamasha with Ranbir Kapoor. Deepika Padukone also starred in the Hollywood movie XXX: Return of Xander Cage.

This year's Cannes Film Festival jury consists of five men and four women who are world cinema celebrities, and these 9 will select the winners of this year's Palme d'Or awards. Deepika Padukone has been attending the Cannes Film Festival since 2017. French actor Vincent Lyndon will chair the jury at the current 75th Cannes Film Festival.

The jury includes Deepika, co-starring Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace and Italian actor-director Jasmine Trinka, as well as directors Asghar Farhadi, Ladz Lee, Jeff Nichols and Joachim Trier. This year's winners will be officially announced by the panel of judges at a ceremony in Cannes on May 28.

Actress Deepika Padukone attended the first day of the red carpet reception with the jury. Deepika appeared in a black shimmery saree. Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone last starred in Shakun Badra's Gehraiyaan, before which she starred opposite her husband Ranveer Singh in Kabir Khan's 83. She is currently co-starring with Hrithik Roshan in Fighter and Pathan starring Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Pathan is set to release in January 2023.
