AFTER AJITH'S VALIMAI, A REMAKE FILM ON THE CARDS?: NEW UPDATE HERE
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsProducer Boney Kapoor made a successful foray into Tamil cinema in 2019 with the H. Vinoth directed courtroom drama Nerkonda Paarvai. Produced by Kapoor under the banner Bayview Projects LLP, the film starred Ajith Kumar, Shraddha Srinath, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andra Tariang and others in important roles.
After that, the 'Wanted' producer reunited with Ajith and H. Vinoth for their upcoming project Valimai, which is touted to be an action flick. With Ajith playing the role of a cop, Valimai has music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Recently, several media reports suggested that after Valimai, Boney Kapoor will be producing the Tamil remake of Anubhav Sinha's acclaimed crime drama Article 15 with a leading director and actor roped in for the project. Our close sources have informed us that even though the remake rights are with Kapoor, further details regarding the project are yet to be finalized.
The birdie had also revealed that the discussions for the Tamil remake have started and we can expect the official announcement only after the completion of Valimai. Stay tuned.
