Superstar Rajinikanth and director Pa Ranjith’s much-awaited Kaala teaser released a few hours ago. Fans who were eagerly awaiting the teaser during the day had a pleasant surprise from the makers, who decided to reveal the teaser at 00:00 hours on March 2.

Kaala’s teaser is Rajinikanth’s swag all the way with his stylish slang of Tamil being the highlight. It starts off with Nana Patekar asking what kind of a name Kaala is and the next moment, Rajini’s intro slips in with Sreekar Prasad’s cuts serving as the best topping. Superstar seems to be donning the black shirt throughout to represent black as the colour of hard workers. The entire teaser has a pretty impressive narrative.

A lot of other actors who are said to be playing important roles seem to be seen in certain shots but the entire teaser rides on Superstar’s style and mass factors. The punches are sure to become popular, especially because of the Nellai slang Tamil that Kaala aka Karikalan speaks.

Cinematography by Murali G seems to be one thing to watch out for and Santhosh Narayanan scores big with the teaser’s BGM. Yogi B needs a special mention for his rap that elevates the teaser’s latter half. Frames are commendable and the aura that Superstar seems to carry in this teaser is something admirable. The energy that a star like Rajinikanth has seems to be tapped well by Pa Ranjith and it looks like we are in for a cracker of a mass ride. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.
