CHENNAI EXPRESS CO-PRODUCER'S DAUGHTER TESTS POSITIVE FOR CORONAVIRUS

According to North Indian media reports, Morani's daughter Shaza returned to Mumbai from Sri Lanka on the first week of March, several days before the announcement of a countrywide shutdown. Though Shaza never showed any symptoms, it was Karim Morani's other daughter Zoya, who was found symptomatic.

When both his daughters were admitted to the city's Nanavati hospital, it was later found that Shaza was tested positive for COVID 19 and recent reports suggest that Zoya was also found to be positive. Currently, both are kept under isolation at the same hospital.

This must be the second Bollywood related case of Coronavirus infection after singer Kanika Kapoor, who was recently tested negative for the sixth time. The virus has infected over 1.2 million and over 70,000 deaths worldwide.
