According to the Behindwoods Box Office wing analysis, this Venkat Prabhu directorial has approximately collected around Rs. 1,42,60,280 (1.42 crores) in the Chennai region, holding a show count of 342 per day. The film has got a very good opening verdict. Yuvan Shankar Raja's background score and Venkat Prabhu's screenplay treatment have worked big time for the movie, along with Shiva's humor, Gopi's bat sentiment, and Praveen's fast cuts.
