It is not uncommon for fake social media accounts to spring in the name of celebrities from time to time. Celebrities too have made their denial known when such instances spring up . Recently, we saw fake accounts being started in the names of comedians Goundamani, Senthil and Janakaraj. They denied it to be fake almost immediately. Now, popular comedian Charle joins the chorus.

Charle complains to the cops - What happened?

A Twitter account was doing the rounds in Charle’s name. The actor gave a complaint to the cops, asking for action to be taken in the case and flagged the social media account to be fake.

Charle has acted in more than 800 films. He made his debut in the film ’Poikkal Kudhirai’ in 1982, directed by the eminent director K. Balachandar. Some of the popular films he has acted in include Friends, Vetrrikodi Kattu, Kadalukku Mariyadhai, etc, amongst others.
