BREAKING UPDATE ON VETRI MAARAN, VIJAY SETHUPATHI & SOORI’S BIGGIE IS HERE; MASS INDEED!
Home > Tamil Movies > Tamil Cinema NewsDirector Vetri Maaran, known for his rooted themes and raw filmmaking style, was last seen directing the Dhanush-starrer epic Asuran that also had Manju Warrier, Teejay, Ken Karunas, Pasupathy, and others in crucial roles. For the unversed, he had also directed a segment in the Netflix anthology, Paava Kadhaigal.
He has a bunch of projects in his kitty next, which also includes an upcoming film with Soori titled Viduthalai, another project with Suriya which is titled as Vaadivaasal. Coming back to Soori’s upcoming film, it is based on a poem written by lyricist Na. Muthukumar.
The first look posters of the movie had released sometime back and won audiences. Soori was seen as a police officer while Vijay Sethupathi was in handcuffs. It is not yet known what role VJS plays. This is the first time Vetri Maaran is working with Soori and Vijay Sethupathi.
Now, sources close to us have revealed that the final schedule of this project have started its shoot in Chengalpet. Produced by Elred Kumar under the banner RS Infotainment, the film will feature GV Prakash’s sister Bhavani Sre as the female lead.
