Produced by Boney Kapoor and Directed by H Vinoth, the movie has been in the making for close to two years now and is one of the most anticipated Tamil releases this year.
Sources in the know had revealed on July 31 that Valimai's first single composed by Music Director Yuvan Shankar Raja would be out on August 2. Not just that. Details regarding the song title were also revealed. Reportedly, the song's first line will start with "Naanga Vera Madhiri…".
The official word is finally out regarding the same. The first single announcement of Thala Ajith's 'Valimai' would be out at 7 pm today. The news has created quite a buzz on social media handles with fans trending the hashtags #Valimai, #ThalaAjith and #ValimaiFirstSingle.

The movie's motion poster was released by the makers a few weeks back and the conversation surrounding it has increased tremendously with fans eagerly waiting for the movie's release on the big screens. The most-awaited movie, which is set to be released this year, has Huma Qureshi, Pearle Maaney, Yogi Babu and Kartikeya Gummakonda playing pivotal roles. The film's music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, whilst cinematography is performed by Nirav Shah.
