Bala announced on behalf of his team that they felt Aari, Nisha, Rio and Vel Murugan's speech were more inspiring than the rest of the others.This rendered the rest of the inmates in the group - Rekha, Sanam, Gabriella and Samyuktha to be the first 4 people who were chosen for nomination process.

As the kitchen team argument continues, Anitha is jokingly called as Vanitha by Som for which she gets hurt, and is afraid that her image will be portrayed differently, according to her own words. Meanwhile, the task continues where Anitha recalls the hardships in her life, were she had to work and study all at the same time, and how hardwork never goes in vain. She said one day things will fall right into place and urged others of her same age to not lose hope.

Post this, Shivani, Suresh and Jithan Ramesh recount their experiences. Shivani explained how she always wanted to live in the city and become an actor since she was born in a village. Suresh spoke of how he was born in a very rich family and how their life spiralled down to poverty. He spoke of how his life has been moving up and down. 

Jithan Ramesh also told the inmates how even after being a part of an affluent family, he had had his share of problems, trials and tribulations and how sustenance in the film industry is always based on the current success. 

During the end of the episode, a small fight erupts between Sanam and Bala - as the cooking fuel runs out as displayed by the restriction meter, arguments heat on between the two as Bala, who became a joined with kitchen team now, walks off saying he won't be a part of the team anymore when Sanam wouldn't reply properly to his questions.
