Julie, who played a role in the season, tarnished her image by fighting with Oviya, Gayatri Raghuram and Namitha, and later appeared in films and commercials.

She then competed as a contestant on the recently aired Bigg Boss Ultimate show. She had won the hearts of the people by playing responsibly this time unlike before. She did well in the given tasks and received compliments from the team mates. Some even thought she would bag the title. But she was eliminated in the middle of the show.

Following the conclusion of the Bigg Boss Ultimate show, Julie met and congratulated her fellow colleague Balaji Murugadoss, who won the title. She also met everyone who attended the event and shared photos of it on the Internet.
