ILAYARAJA-PRASAD STUDIO ROW: BHARATHIRAJA CALLS FOR FILM INDUSTRY SUPPORT

Bharathiraja in the statement said, because of the tussle, there were problems faced by Ilayaraja in going forward with his works. The issue has to be sorted amicably, the ace director said. He also said to resolve the issue, "All music directors and other members of film fraternity should attend a meeting to be held at Prasad Studios on November 28 at 3pm".

Ilayaraja, the legendary music director has been composing music for over 50 years and his music is enjoyed by fans of different generations. He started his journey as a music director in the 1970’s and has won the National awards five times.

Fondly known as ‘Isaigani’, the music composer has composed more than 7000 songs and has done music for more than 1000 movies. He is currently doing music for Myskkins ‘Psycho' and Vijay Antony’s ‘Tamizharasan.
