MUCH EXPECTED BEHINDWOODS GOLD SHORT FILMS CONTEST LAUNCHED

We have launched Behindwoods Gold Medals for Short Films for this year. This is the 4th edition of Behindwoods Gold Medals awards and the 3rd one for Short film contest. Since its launch, there has been a good response every year with 600 plus entries.

This year, we have opened the contest for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English languages and the short film can belong to any genre, but the duration should not be more than 20 minutes.

We would also like to mention that Desing Periyasamy, the winner in 2015 contest will soon be working on a project with Dulquer Salmaan. Muse, Short film of Kannan who got a special mention award in Behindwoods Gold 2015, has been nominated for National Awards. Shameer Sultan bagged the award in 2016 for the short film Naan8.

The winners this year will get an opportunity to narrate their story to producers such as AGS Cinemas, Lyca Productions, PVP Cinemas, Auraa Cinemas, Across Films, 70 mm Entertainment, Studio 9 and 2 Movie Buffs. So, all those talents out there, what are you waiting for? Send in your entries!
