Following the huge success of the film, James Cameron announced that the second installment of the 2016 Avatar film would be made into a 5-part set, each released two years apart. The film stars Kate Winslet, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vin Diesel, Joe Saldana and Sam Worthington.
Avatar became the highest grossing film in the world, surpassed by the recent Avengers movie. Meanwhile, fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the second part of Avatar. Director James Cameron has announced that filming for Avatar 2 will be completed by 2020. The crew also announced that the film would be released in 2022.
