ARVIND SWAMI REVEALS WHY CCV IS SPECIAL FROM OTHER MANI RATNAM MOVIES

A pre-release function for Nawab, the Telugu version of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam took place in Hyderabad today, September 25. Mani Ratnam, AR Rahman, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay and a few other casts from the film took part in the function.

Arvind Swami's speech:

"From Rishi in Roja to Sidharth Abimanyu in Dhruv, you guys have always given me a lot of love and welcomed me. I am sure Varada and Nawab is something you will like and I thank you in advance for that. 

I started my journey with Mani sir only in 1990, so it is been 28 years since we started. It is been about 8 films that I have associated with him in one way or other. This film, from the beginning, we knew it is going to be something very special. Every movie with Mani is special but this movie is even more special, maybe because of its storyline, the cast, it's an extraordinary film. 

Working with Santhosh Sivan and AR Rahman is a privilege and an honour. It was wonderful working with the entire cast. I sincerely look forward to your support. I am sure you will enjoy the film as well. Thank you."
