Aruvi directed by Arun Purushothaman and bankrolled by SR Prabhu and SR Prakash of Dream Warrior Pictures is now scheduled to release on December 1. Kodi Veeran, Thiruttuppayale 2 and Richie are the other releases planned for that weekend.

Aruvi won appreciation in the Delhi Habitat Film Festival and was screened at the Shanghai international film festival too. It has a fresh cast, music by Bindu Malini and Vedanth Baradwaj and cinematography by Shelly Gaulist.
