EXCLUSIVE: ''VIJAY SIR DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO ANSWER''

Arjun's 150th film Nibunan is all set to release tomorrow (28th July) worldwide, and Behindwoods caught up with the film's director Arun Vaidyanathan for an exclusive interview.
 

During the interview, Arun recalled the days when he was a journalist, who interviewed celebrities like Vijay, Suriya, and others in their initial stages of their career. He said, "I have interviewed celebrities right from Thalaivaasal Vijay to Thalapathy Vijay. I interviewed Vijay sir once, during the release time of Kaadhalukku Mariyadhai. He was at the peak of the success of Poove Unakkaga, and during the interview, I asked him, what type films he would be interested in doing in the future. He was just some few films old then and he wasn't stamped with any tag, so I asked him that question. He didn't know what to answer. He looked around, went into a deep thought for some time, and then again I asked him with more clarity. Then, he gave me an interesting answer.

But now, in 2017,  you can definitely ask him lots and lots of questions as he carries immense experience behind him. Also, he has changed very much from those days. It was really a good experience. Even recently, I got to meet him, along with my two sons and I told him about this, but he didn't remember. It has been a great long travel since then.

And I was the person to interview Suriya for his film Nerukku Ner with Vijay sir. I do not have the footage of Vijay sir's interview, but luckily, I have Suriya's."
