TERRIFIC COMBINATION OF AR RAHMAN - UDHAYANIDHI STALIN - MARI SELVARAJ ANNOUNCED!

Udhayanidhi, who saw Karnan starring Dhanush, met Mari Selvaraj who directed the film in person and praised him. It was then rumored that the two were in talks to make a film together. This was widely speculated and created curiosity and anticipation amongst the fans. Udayanidhi Stalin had posted on his Instagram story yesterday that 'A biggest announcement is arriving tomorrow'. This left everyone expecting that he would be announcing his next film details today under Mari Selvaraj's directorial.

Title announcement:

Amidst expectations, the title of the film featuring Udhayanidhi Stalin and directed by Mari Selvaraj was announced today at 10 am. Titled as Maamannan, the film also features Vadivelu, Fahadh Faasil and Keerthy Suresh in prominent roles.

Vadivelu's re-entry

Actor Vadivelu is making a re-entry in Tamil cinema with Naai Sekar Returns after a gap of a few years. As the film is being shot, Maamannan is the actor's next film after this. This movie announcement came as a double treat for the fans who are waiting to see Vadivelu on the big screens after a long gap. 

Fahadh Faasil:

Actor Fahadh Faasil has impressed the fans with his unique acting skills as hero and villain both. Apart from just entertaining Malayalam cinema, he has fans in Tamil Nadu as well. Fahadh has already appeared in Tamil films - Velaikkaran and Super Deluxe. Fahadh had given a jaw-dropping performance in the recently released 'Pushpa' starring Allu Arjun. He will be next seen along with actor Kamal Haasan and Vijay Sethupathi in 'Vikram'. Post which, he will be seen in Maamannan.

AR Rahman:

Musician AR Rahman entry as composer in the film has further enthralled the fans. AR Rahman will be teaming up with Mari Selvaraj and Udayanithi Stalin for the very first time. Thus, the expectations of the fans for the songs and music of this film has increased.
