Music Maestro, AR Rahman, who has been ruling the music industry as well our hearts for several years had earlier announced that he is stepping into the producer’s and the writer’s shoes for the very first time with ’99 Songs’ under the YM Movies banner which is also collaborated with the Jio Studios.
Based on a young and a passionate love story with music in its soul, the film will be directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy. Rahman took to his Twitter on Wednesday and to made a big announcement.
He has shared that the film will not be releasing on the earlier announced date i.e. on June 21 as the post production work especially the VFX works are underway. Sharing the information, he wrote, “#99SongsTheMovie Announcement!” Check out the tweet here -

99 Songs will feature debutants Ehan, Edilsy Varghese and Tenzin Dalha. The film will also feature Lisa Ray, Manisha Koirala, composer-drummer Ranjit Barot and Indian Ocean’s Rahul Ram in the supporting roles.
