In the event from the video, one can see Salman jokingly (or not) calling Rahman an “average” composer to which the other politely smiles but is shown to be reluctant to shake hands with the star.
Soon enough, in the press interaction that follows, he’s also seen savagely responding to a reporter’s question of why he doesn’t work with the star with, “He has to make the kind of films I like.”
