Sharing about the first single from the film, he tweeted, "Extremely Happy to be Collaborating with #SonyMusic for 99 songs Global Music Release. #JioStudios #99songs".

To which one of his irked fans asked if the song was releasing in 2050, and Rahman replied in a cool manner, 'Today' with a smiley, which has impressed the netizens. Directed by Vishwesh Krishnamoorthy, the film was scheduled to be released in 2019 itself, however the release has been postponed and this might be the reason behind the irked fan’s question - “In 2050?”
