Director A.R. Murugadoss, who is directing Vijay in Thalapathy 62, has took to Twitter to voice out against the Tuticorin police shootout.
The Kaththi and Thuppakki director said: "அமைதி வழியில் போராடிய எம்மக்களின் உயிர் பறித்தது மிகுந்த வேதனை அளிக்கிறது..!"
This roughly translates to "It brings me extreme sadness to see the non-violent protestors lose their lives."
