Chennai: Actress Anushka is all set to star in a new film with Ajith-Vijay film director.
Actress Anushka Shetty is a leading actress in Tamil and Telugu movies. She has acted in Telugu and Tamil with leading actors like Rajinikanth, Ajith, Vijay, Suriya, Vikram, Arya, Karthi, Nagarjuna, Ravi Teja, Prabhas. Apart from that, she has also acted as a solo heroine in films like Panchakshari and Arundhati.
Anushka last acted opposite Madhavan in Silence. After that, she did not announce any other new films. Now, sources close to us have revealed that she has signed the dotted lines for her next which will be directed by popular Tamil director AL Vijay.
The film is said to be a female-centric film and an official announcement will be made soon. Further details about the remaining cast and crew are expected to be out soon.
AL Vijay made his directorial debut with the film Kireedam starring actor Ajith. He then directed the movie Thalaivaa starring actor Vijay and the movie Thaandavam featuring Chiyaan Vikram. His last directorial outing was Thalaivi which was based on the life of the late Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and the film feautured Kangana Ranaut.
