Ram has been the assistant director of hit TV serials like Balika Vadhu. However, due to lockdown and corona, he now has to sell vegetables in Azamgarh. Speaking to a popular daily, the director says he has no regrets. "I came in search of a film in Azamgarh. We were here when the lockdown was announced. In such a situation it became difficult for us to return."

"The project we were working on stopped. The producer said that now it will take a year or more to start work. After this I decided to take over my father's business and started selling vegetables. I am aware of this profession and I do not regret it", he says.
