Anirudh Ravichander has been tasting success from his debut film 3. His songs and albums have created a huge fan base for the rockstar. His latest movie Petta with Superstar Rajinikanth has received great response and his music has been highly appreciated.
Behindwoods talked with the young music director and had a delightful conversation. In his interview, we asked him about Superstar telling on Petta audio launch that Anirudh is the next A.R.Rahman. For that he genuinely replied,”He has told it out of love. To do whatever A.R.Rahman sir has done and is still doing, a new person has to be born. He is my inspiration. I am happy that everyone has been supportive of me but I will never accept it.”
On talking about working with top heroes and his plans ahead, he shared with us,”I was doing small films then A.R.Murugadoss sir gave me a big hero film Kaththi and brought me to the bigger game. Then Siva sir gave me a film with Ajith sir and then Vignesh Shivn offered me a film with Suriya sir. Now Karthik Subbaraj gave me thalaivar film and then Shankar sir has given me Indian 2. It has always been because of the amazing directors who believed in me."
