Andrea Jeremiah and Ram’s Taramani second teaser review

Ram’s Taramani has been raising eyebrows among the youth for it’s bold storyline and strong content which happens to be a space open for debate. Today, Taramani’s second teaser has been released by Silambarasan. How is it and what is it about?

The teaser starts off with a saying from the Thirukkural. It moves onto a facetime conversation starring Anjali which is funny, realistic and at the same time, questions the ways of the people of this modern era. The teaser might seem to target the IT industry and it’s corporate ways in particular, especially because of it’s title which is the IT hub of Chennai.

However, it could be taken as a general take on westernization and how we deal with it or a debate between what is right and what is wrong and the answer lying in how we take it. The first teaser itself had some really strong verses that were close to reality. Similarly, this one too reflects the same. The lead actors Andrea Jeremiah and Vasanth ravi seem handpicked for this story. The surprising, last 10 seconds of the teaser is proof for this.

Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is a big plus. The beauty of the teaser lies in it’s poetic narrative and refrain from being preachy for which major credits have to be given to Yuvan and editor Sreekar Prasad. Na.Muthukumar’s lyrics will be something to look forward to in the album. Camera work by Theni Eshwar is also commendable.

On the whole, Taramani’s second teaser is a treat for the majority who are stuck in between cultural differences and have a lot of questions to ask to this society. Ram does it again with his brilliance as a writer and bold nature as a director, who crazily ventures into the roads not taken. Taramani sure is a movie to watch out for!
