MASSIVE MERSAL UPDATE COMES YOUR WAY!

Vijay's Mersal team is in full flow, with an array of announcements coming our way almost every day. As the date for the grand audio launch approaches, the team is on a high as they prepare for the massive day. With the audio launch scheduled to be held in Chennai's Nehru Indoor Stadium on 20th August, the team has made yet another announcement for a big update that will be announced by 2pm today.

Hema Rukmani, the director of Thenandal Studios Limited, took to Twitter to make a major pre-announcement shout out. ''#MersalUpdate 📢something BIG, something EXCITING coming your way at 2:00PM. Keep guessing ;) #FANLUV @ThenandalFilms #Thalapathy #Mersal''. Since this tweet was posted, there have been various speculations as to what the colossal, exciting update will be.

There have been talks that the producers, in association with Twitter India are going to launch a specialized emoticon for Mersal. On the other hand, there is a mini debate as to whether the update will be of the teaser release date, or the full tracklist details or if it is going to be the lyric video of the song Neethanae, which was launched as a single yesterday. We have to wait until 2 pm to find out what the big update is!
