The 92nd edition of the Academy Awards was held on Sunday and the Korean black comedy Parasite swept four majors awards- best screenplay, direction, foreign language film and best feature film, thereby emerging as the top pick of the Oscars season.
The star-studded ceremony also witnessed a rap performance from Utkarsh Ambudkar, an American rapper of Indian origin, who performed a rap song that gave a quick recap of the function. The artist had also addressed the lack of diversity in Oscars during his act.
Apart from Parasite, the Quentin Tarantino-directed Once Upon A Time In Hollywood won two awards, including best supporting actor for Brad Pitt and Production Design while Joaquin Pheonix and Renée Zellweger won the best actor male and female for their stunning performances in Joker and Judy.
