Second Season and Controversy

The second season of the series was released on Amazon Prime in June last year following the success of the first season. Controversy arose over the misrepresentation of Tamils ​​and some protesters in certain scenes this season. There was strong opposition to the series in Tamil Nadu. Voices were also raised calling for the series to be banned. Samantha, who starred in it, also got the nods. This season has been largely watched because of these controversies.

Third Season

Following this, Amazon Prime has now officially announced the third installment of this series. Both Raj and DK, who produced the first two episodes, have announced that the third season is in the making. Under the announcement, they both said, "Work in progress. Await a red hot season.” It is noteworthy that at the end of the second season they concluded that the next season would be about a mission to take place in the Northeastern States. The announcement has raised expectations.
