Talented actress, Amala Paul was last seen on screen in Ram Kumar’s Ratsasan which had Vishnu Vishal in the lead role. The film had opened up to rave reviews and did wonders at the box office. She has a number of projects lined up in her pipeline.
Amongst others, the film that grabbed the eyeballs was the first look poster of Aadai that was released in September last year, featuring the actress wrapped in a torn dress and in an anguished, frightful look.
Well, there is an interesting news on the film. Directed by Rathna Kumar, who had made an impressive debut in 2017 with the sleeper hit romantic comedy Meyaadha Maan, Aadai has been censored A. Sources close to us have added that the makers had hoped for a U/A certificate, but the board has found the film high on violence and adult content and thereby have issued an A certificate.
Produced by Viji Subramaniyan under the production banner V Studios, the film will see Amala playing the role of a bold girl by the name Kamini. She is caught in a troublesome situation and how she gets out of the trouble forms the story.
