The demise of Malayalam filmmaker Sachy, who most recently gave us Ayyappanum Koshiyum has plunged us into grief. Amala Paul, who had acted in Run Baby Run in the former's writing, took to Twitter to mourn the loss.
She wrote: Sachy gave me one of my biggest hits in the Malayalam industry with Run Baby Run ~ Renuka lives on! He entered this world, mastered his art and moved on to another dimension. With fond memories, I wish you farewell my dear friend. Goodbye, until we meet again. (sic)

Sachy went into cardiac arrest and was put on ventilator support, from which he never recovered. Fans and celebrities continue to pay their rich respects.
