Alia Bhatt is currently awaiting the release of her Bollywood biggie Kalank starring Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Adithya Roy Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha. She is also cast in Rajamouli’s RRR opposite Ram Charan.
She, along with other Bollywood celebrities met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, few days back, who had asked them to urge people to vote as celebrities have a lot of influence over people.
Alia is busy with the promotional activities of Kalank for now. She has urged people to vote in one of her recent tweets. Sadly, the actress will not be able to cast her vote in the upcoming elections.
Indians cannot hold dual citizenship and so, Alia who holds a British citizenship will not permitted to vote. Not only Alia, celebrities Akshay Kumar who holds a Canadian citizenship, Deepika Padukone who has Danish passport are not allowed to vote either.
