Bollywood’s Khiladi King, Akshay Kumar will be seen collaborating with director Rohit Shetty for the very first time titled as Sooryavanshi. The film will feature Katrina Kaif as the female lead.
Produced by Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar under their banner of Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions in association with Reliance Entertainment and Cape Of Good Films, the film is said to be one of the costliest cop films in Indian cinema.
Rohit Shetty had recently announced the change in date of release, “You can Compete with the World but Not with your Family... See you soon Chulbul Pandey!!!” Salman also took to twitter and wrote, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it... #RohitShetty Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020.”
However, this did not go well with the fans as many of them started to trend hashtags such as #BoycottSooryavanshi and #ShameOnRohitShetty and the actor and director were trolled due to the date change. There were several hate tweets for Salman Khan as well.

Akshay Kumar took to his social media to calm his fans and requested them to keep a positive outlook. He even wrote that he understands their anger but expressed that he would not like to see them participate in such activities. Check out the tweet here -
