ACTOR THREATENS TO SET FIRE TO THEATRES SCREENING AJITH’S FILM TODAY!

Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal Kannada dubbed version, titled Sathyadev IPS, despite legal clearance by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) and the support from Krishna Gowda (President of Kannada Film Chamber of Commerce) has failed to release in the city of Bengaluru today.

However, it has released in 60 other screens across Karnataka as per schedule. Apparently, the reason for the boycott is said to be the opposition by various organizations and cine artists of Karnataka. President of Kannada Film Directors’ Association, M.S Ramesh has appealed to everyone to come against dubbed films.

Vattal Nagaraj has announced a statewide protest against dubbed films. He has also apparently threatened to set fire to theatres that screen Ajith’s Sathyadev IPS. Also, actors like Shivarajkumar and Jaggesh have also started voicing their opposition towards the entry of dubbed films and a statement has been issued.
