Thala 59 is the official Tamil remake of the movie Pink, with the original Hindi version having Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee play the lead roles. This Ajith starrer will be directed by H Vinoth of Sathuranga Vettai and Theeran Adhigaram Ondru fame, and produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner Bayview Projects LLP.
Here is a breaking update about the release of the film. Thala fans are all set to witness their favourite star on screen, another time within 6 months. The project is moving at a brisk pace, and will hit the screens this summer. We can surely hope for a May or Early June release.
Following this project, Ajith will be joining hands with Boney Kapoor for his 60th film, that will go on floors from July 2019, and release on April 10, 2020. With such intricate planning by the team, nothing can go wrong.
Ajith was last seen in the film Viswasam, his 4th collaboration with Siva, that was bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films, and distributed in TN by KJR Studios.
