Nerkonda Paarvai, starring Ajith, Vidya Balan and Shraddha Srinath in lead roles is directed by H Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru fame. The film is the official remake of the critically acclaimed 2016 Hindi film Pink which had Amitabh Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, Kriti Kulhari and Andrea Tariang in crucial roles. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor.
Nerkonda Paarvai is all set to release on August 10 on the day of Saturday, a great departure from regular release days which is usually Fridays or Thursdays. The film has also not eyed for a holiday like Independance day (August 15) for a release. This might be a sign of the fact that releasing a film on weekend might be a new safe bet for Tamil cinema.
