A SPECIAL DAY FOR THALA AJITH AND HIS FANS!

The Ajith Kumar starrer Billa, directed by Vishnuvardhan celebrates 9 years of release today (14th December). It is the remake of the 1980 film with the same title starring Superstar Rajinikanth directed by R.Krishnamurthy.

The Ajith film that released in 2007 on this same day became a super hit and won rave reviews for it’s modern adaptation of the original film. It was also screened at the 61st Cannes Film Festival and emerged as a big financial success.

The film had music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and boasts of a strong technical crew that includes cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by A.Sreekar Prasad. The dialogue “I’m Back” from the 2007 Billa is still Ajith’s signature dialogue and is remembered as a favourite by one and all. The film  also had a prequel, Billa 2 directed by Chakri Toleti, that released in 2012.
