Valimai was very well received among the fans. Great fans gathered especially for the bike stunt scenes and sentimental scenes. The movie has grossed over Rs 200 crore worldwide at the box office.
The project of AK61, the third collaboration between actor Ajith Kumar, H. Vinoth and Boney Kapoor, was finalized a year ago after the success of Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. Ajith Kumar's 61st movie has started following the movie Valimai.
Boney Kapoor shared the photo on Twitter a few days ago with the first look of the AK 61 film. It featured a photo of actor Ajith in black shade highlighting hair and beard in white. Boney Kapoor announced the pre-production of the film. According to reports, the pooja for the film was held at 9.01 am today at the Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad.
