Boney Kapoor is an Indian film producer who works predominantly in the Hindi film industry and had bankrolled several successful films. He is currently producing the Ajith-starrer legal drama Nerkonda Paarvai under his newly-formed banner Bayview Projects LLP. The film is directed by H. Vinoth and also stars Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Andrea Tariang, Priyadarshni Rajkumar and Rangaraj Pandey in crucial supporting roles.
Do you know that the producer is also known for his generous and kind treatment of his crew members. During the shoot of his debut film, the Mithun Chakraborty-starrer Hum Paanch (1980), Kapoor was seen serving food to his cast & crew , It’s not all, he had also constructed 20 cottages with attached bathrooms for their stay as the nearest hotel from the location that was more than a hundred miles away, during the shoot.
The cottages had a movie theatre & a club house for indoor games. He also made badminton court to keep the cast & crew entertained. He did the same during the shoot of his last film Mom, in Georgia’s snow capped mountains, The film is very special for Boney Kapoor as it was Sridevi’s 300th film. Boney Kapoor will also be producing Ajith Kumar's Thala 60, which is slated for a 2020 Summer release.
