AIYAI: Wrathful Soul is an upcoming English psychological supernatural thriller, directed by Ilanthirayan Alan Arumugam. AIYAI is said to have an original, content rich screenplay navigated by relatable distinct characters, with an Internation appeal, interms of the technical work.
 

The story of AIYAI revolves around a young man, Kiran who becomes plagued by mysterious tragedies. Whilst these incidents perplex the police and investigators, Kiran’s behaviour becomes increasingly erratic with each tragedy – he experiences visions of events that he is unable to understand or explain. Little does he realise, that he is the conduit for an unknown spirit which lures victims to their chilling fates. 

The word AIYAI originates from ancient Indian literature, metaphorically meaning ‘princess’, a woman from a homeless clan of gypsies who have remained destitute street mongers for generations.

With an interesting premise in this form, AIYAI is touted to release by the mid of 2019. The film features Kabir Singh, Pennyanne Lace, Richard Huggett, Vinod Mohana Sundaram, William Wensley, Ozzie Devrish, Marco Sinigaglia in its cast.
