But the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic has brought the entire world into a standstill and has also forced the shooting of the films to stop abruptly. Maanaadu which was on a regular shoot had to halt following the rise of positive cases in Corona.

Meanwhile, the producer, Suresh Kamatchi had taken to his Twitter space and shared an exciting update. He tweeted, “Hi friends, EveryOne r asking abt #Maanaadu updates. As of nw Industry s waiting for Government's Green signal. Once the permission granded immediately, we wl b on floor...stay safe!”

As the fans were celebrating this, the team has surprised now with another special poster that has wished popular actor and director, SJ Suryah on his birthday.
