Prabhu Deva — the multifaceted artist is back to Tamil movies after his busy schedule at Bollywood. He was directing 'Dabangg 3' with Salman Khan and has signed ‘Radhe’ with the actor again. ‘Dabangg’ 3 is slated to release during Christmas. Prabhu Deva will be next seen in Tamil movie ‘Pon Manickavel’ directed by A.C. Mugil Chellappan. The movie is touted as an action thriller.
“Pon Manickavel’ will see Prabhu Deva in the role of a police officer for the first time. Now, its official that the movie will be released during the Pongal season along with Rajinikanth's ‘Darbar’.
The movie is produced by Jabaks Movies. Nivetha Pethuraj will play the female lead along with Prabhu Deva.
The music department is handled by D. Imman. The music director had recently shared information about introducing a new singer from Malaysia Thiagaraja Subramaniam, who works as a truck driver. The teaser of the movie gave an impression that the movie will be of action-genre.
Prabhu Deva was last seen in a Devi 2 directed by A.L Vijay a sequel to Devi, which got released in 2016. He was also seen in Charlie Chaplin 2.
