Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan was a Malayalam comedy film directed by Nadirshah in 2016. The film had received good reviews and was produced by Dileep.
We have earlier reported about the Tamil remake of the film, which will star Vijay TV fame Dheena in the lead role. The title in Tamil is Arrupukottayil Ajith and Nadirshah will be directing this version as well. Siddhi Mahajankitti of Aanandam fame and Aditi Ravi of Alamara fame will be a part of this project.
Speaking exclusively to Behindwoods, Aditi said, "I am pretty excited to act in a Tamil movie. This is my first Tamil movie as a heroine. Arrupukottayil Ajith is the remake of Kattapanayile Rithwik Roshan. I watched the Malayalam version on screen and I have dreamt to be part of this kind of a movie. Nadirshah is directing the film and it is a dream come true moment."
DILEEP COMPLAINS ABOUT BLACKMAIL AND RANSOM DEMAND

Malayalam actor Dileep and director Nadirsha have filed a police complaint that they are being blackmailed and demanded ransom money by one Vishnu in the actress abduction case.
The complaint reportedly mentions that ransom money of Rs 1.5 crore is being demanded from Dileep and Nadirsha by Vishnu, who is the former jail mate of Pulsar Sunni, the prime accused in the actress abduction case.
Dileep, in his complaint, had said that Vishnu asked him for the ransom for not mentioning his name in the case even though he knew that he was not involved in the case. It is believed that there are others from the film fraternity who are keen to bring in Dileep’s name in the case.
